In my experience, wearing a suit doesn’t mean you are a professional, wearing a beret doesn’t mean you are an artist, and there is nothing special I wear when I am creative. I love the simplicity of a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. In this most basic outfit I am able to get past aesthetics and dig into life creatively.

I view creativity, not as talent I possess or a trick that I can use, instead creativity is a goal that I strive for. To use my imagination and original ideas to create something. Let me be clear, I am almost never creating something new and the creativity that inspires me is rarely a brand new idea. It is taking an thought and researching, playing, testing, failing, trying again and landing on a different unique take. I strive for new solutions, adventures, fun and simplicity. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail miserably, sometimes I try again at that same idea, sometimes I store this knowledge for my next idea. It is just as much about the process as it is about the product.

T-shirt and Jeans are just a simple choice that allows space to practice creativity.
